    • Error 5: This error code means that your Roomba Vacuum’s cliff sensors are dirty or malfunctioning. This could prevent the Roomba from detecting stairs or ledges.

After pressing it the vacuum will detach its vacuum bin from the robot. Now check if there is any damage or problem with the vacuum bin. And if not then move to the next step below.

    Step #2. Clean the Vacuum Bin

    After inspecting the vacuum bin if you still can’t find any damage to it then the problem might be with the cleanliness of the bin. Sometimes dust is the reason why the sensors aren’t working properly. So check the whole vacuum bin thoroughly for any dust or debris in the bin, sensor, or connection port. After that take a soft cloth and clean the dust and debris from the vacuum bin gently.

    Step #3. Reinstall the Vacuum bin to the Roomba

    Once you cleaned the vacuum bin you need to reinstall it on the Roomba vacuum. To reinstall it just slide the vacuum bin back into the bin slot till it makes a connection. Once the bin is attached properly with the vacuum cleaner it will establish a connection and will be able to work properly.

    At last, restart the Roomba vacuum to see if you’re still getting the Roomba C510 Error or not. Just press the power button on the robot to restart it. Once the machine is turned on you will notice that the C510 error is gone. If the vacuum cleaner beeps a green light and you hear a voice saying “Ready To Clean”. Then that means the error is successfully fixed and now your Roomba vacuum will work properly.
