Apple Event One More Thing in which the first-ever computer to be powered by custom Arm-based silicon chips is going to be launch. According to Apple the new processor is Apple-owned and will be more powerful than before and will deliver improved performance and less battery consumption.
Tomorrow November 10 the day which many of us are waiting for the third Apple Event of the year this event is basically organized for the launch of the new and first Apple Mac powered by custom Arm-based silicon chips.
Apple had announced it before at WWDC that they are going to launch Apple Silicon-based computers by the end of the year which are going to be the first computers to be powered by Apple’s own designed CPU. The interesting thing about the event is the name “One More Thing” which is named after Steve Job’s iconic phrase lets hope the new Macs are worth the wait.
There is always a high chance that Apple will not only launch one product in the event as we have seen it before in two events; In the September event company launches both Apple iPad and iWatch while in the October event company launches their new iPhone series along with new Homepod Mini. Rumors, as always, indicate Apple is working hard on lots of other products that may or may not see the light of day.
Apple Event One More Thing
The event is going to kick off at 1 PM on Tuesday so we don’t have to wait for a long we can get to know about everything that Apple going to launch at this event.
Lets talk about the products apple is going to launch in this event:
The first and most rumored product is Apple Silicon based Mac
At WWDC in June, Apple had informed that they are going to launch new Apple Silicon-based Macs which are going to be powered by Apple’s own CPUs. According to the reports we are going to see at least two 13 inches Macbooks in the event. There may be no big change in the design and internal architecture of the new laptops.
The processors used here are same A14 bionic chips which are earlier found in latest iPhone 12 series lineup and the new iPad Air. A14 chip is best chips according to me for the device like mobile and iPad now Apple is going to show us how the chips are going to work in latest Macbooks, Its hard for us to tell how fast the chips are going to run the computer discussed by the company at WWDC.
If you guys are waiting for a new Apple silicon based desktop Macs to launch in the event then maybe you are unlucky as Apple is not going to launch the desktop macs in the tomorrow event according to the report, As Apple is also planning to launch a number of other Apple silicon-based Macs in the pipeline, though, including a redesigned iMac and a new Mac Pro.
MacOS big Sur may get a release date
As the following event is Apple Mac based so we can expect Apple to release the date of launch of the new MacOS big sur, the next major MacOS update. Big Sur brings a huge visual overhaul to macOS, with things like new iOS-style icons for Apple apps and a translucent menu bar that blends into your wallpaper. A dedicated control center will also be there to help you to manage settings like Wi-fi, brightness and volume.
Many Mac apps get updates as well. Safari in Big Sur has a customizable start screen, tab previews, and a privacy report feature that shows you what trackers the browser has blocked. Messages finally gets message effects, as well as features you might have already used in iOS 14, such as pinned replies and in-line conversations. Maps has a number of new features, too, including cycling directions and EV routing.
Some non Mac products also launch tomorrow
The Tomorrow event is mainly an Apple Mac event but we can also expect some of the non-Mac products also to be launch tomorrow.
Apple has long rumored about high-end over-ear headphones may they can launch in the event along with Mac tomorrow. The headphones are rumored to have swappable ear pads and headbands, noise cancellation, Siri controls, and built-in touch controls.
There are also rumors about some Tile like tracker made by Apple called Apple Airtags. These are the circular discs like tracker use to track things like backpacks, wallets, etc. through Apple find my App. It’s expected that AirTags will have ultra-wideband technology to help with more precise tracking.
