Yesterday in Apple Event “Hi, Speed” along with the iPhone 12 series Apple also launched its new small and better version of Homepod named Homepod Mini. It is similar in design to the present Homepod model but comes with a small size and less cost.
This new Mini Homepod smart speaker comes integrated with Siri. This new Homepod will be available in two different color variants i.e. White and Space grey and will cost only $99 in the US and Rs. 9,990 in India. It will be available for sale from 16 November onwards on the official website of Apple.
Homepod Mini
The new Homepod comes with a fabric cover and unlike previous versions of Homepod, the new speakers come with a rounder design. This new Homepod Mini gets to featured with Apple S5 Chip and gets computational audio for better performance.
The new Mini Homepod also features a mesh fabric exterior like the full-sized Homepod in both grey and white colors. It comes with a small display on top which shows the Siri Waveform.
Apple-designed the new Homepod in round shape to push fires sound towards the bottom to provide a 360 degree sound experience to the users. Apple also claims that the device comes with the safety features to keep user data encrypted.
