Amazon Luna Cloud Gaming Service by Amazon is Launching its Services on Android

On Tuesday, Amazon announced that its Cloud gaming service Luna is now going to available on Android also. Like on IOS the Amazon Luna cloud gaming service is also available on the Android platform also. Users may not get separate Luna gaming app services instead of that users may get access to Amazon Luna cloud gaming services through Chrome web browser available on their devices.

Taking a view on the users finally, Amazon has decided to launch its cloud gaming services on Android which may be proved as a great step by Amazon as now most of the people who don’t have IOS supported device can also enjoy the cloud gaming services by Amazon on their android device.

Amazon is giving early access to its gaming service which can initially play on PC, Mac, Fire TV, and on iPhone and iPad via web apps. Till now Amazon launches two plans for its gaming services: Amazon’s $5.99 per-month Luna plans include many games from different publishers whereas the second plan i.e. Ubisoft plus channel which costs $14.99 per-month offers Ubisoft games also. By paying for Ubisoft plus channel users can get access to Ubisoft plus on PC and on Google stadia also.

At this time Amazon launches its Luna gaming service on some android devices only which includes smartphone brands like Samsung, Pixel, and Oneplus. But Amazon said that Luna will add on other Android devices also during the period of its early access. Below is the list of Android devices compatible with Amazon Luna android gaming services as revealed by Amazon:

  • Pixel 4XL, 4A, 4A 5G, 5
  • Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, Note 10, Note 10 Plus, S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, Note 20, Note 20 Ultra
  • OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7 Pro 5G, 8, 8 Pro, Nord, 7T, 7T Pro, 7T Pro 5G

Also from resources, it is revealed that to play Amazon Luna on Android it is necessary to use Android 9 or higher and Chrome version 86 or newer by users on their devices. Also, one can be able to play games with the help of the Amazon-owned Luna controller as well as you can play it with PlayStation 4 or Xbox one controller.
